Nyonya Makko Restaurant

Continuing from our CNY Malacca trip, we scouted around and landed ourselves here for dinner - Restaurant Nyonya Makko.

It started with Bibik Nyong's culinary adventure back in 1960s in Bandar Hilir Melaka where she sells Nasi Lemak. This led to her opening one of Malacca's earliest Nyonya Restaurant at Taman Melaka Raya.

Restaurant Nyonya Makko
123 Taman Melaka Raya
Off Jalan Parameswara
75000 Melaka
Tel : 06-284 7037

We were not able to order a lot since it's only us 2 adults and 2 kids. Everything we (I) saw on the menu makes me want to order and try but eventually, we settled for....

Fried kai lan, something that is not spicy for the kids. It's just a normal vege dish for me.

Nyonya fried chicken. After having tested The Tranquerah's, I wanted to taste this in Malacca itself and this is ggooooddd!! :D Both also as nice and delicious! yumz...

We also ordered Sambal Petai Squid. It's real spicy and really appetizing. Cavan had a lot of this as well! Yes yes he can take spicy food this boy of mine.

One more dish that we had is Ikan Goreng Cili Garam (Fried fish with salted chillies). This is awesome and hubs love it so much that he talked about this fish the whole night! @.@

For dessert, we had a bowl of Cendol each and one spoonful into my mouth, I'm SOLD. I love this so much, not stingy at all on the palm sugar which makes it more aromatic. Yuummmzzz...I just sluurrrppp it all up in no time that night!

We exited Nyonya Makko with very very satisfied tummies and all set for our next "adventure".

coming right up...
